White People

So we're walking down the street this morning and a white woman comments on my bag to say how nice it is. So Naz turns to me and says "Wow even white people like your bag" Huh? What? I don't say anything yet just processing. I'm thinking, "What does she mean by that." So I will find out today when I pick her up from school.

....don't you just hate it

when someone promises to do something EVERYDAY and then doesn't do it. I swear you would have thought I had no pauses in my life. my life has just been going nonstop..well it has but I must make it a point to take a pause for the cause.. if not for me but for my kids at least. well here is one for the pause...

Oh how I love this boy. My Zai Zai. He always makes me smile. Yesterday he had to have 3 teeth pulled out because I have been a bad mommy and giving him candy and not brushing properly. I felt so bad about it cause my baby boy was going to experience pain that I could not bear to think of. But once they gave him that laughing gas and those shots he was good to go. Didn't feel a thing. Only time he cried was when it was over and I think that wasjust separation anxiety..But here he is..with 3 less teef! Love you Zai!

ok so this is crazy. i wake up on april 10 to find SNOW ON THE GROUND! is this not SPRING! now mind you it's only a thin layer but nevertheless it is snow in the springtime. now God does work in mysterious ways.

...i have created 2 monsters

these kids used to get on me ALL THE TIME about being on the computer. so what do i do. i get them involved and welcome them to my world and now i can't get them off of the pc. if it's not disney, it's millsberry or naz's favorite youtube (very cautiously though...) now i have to yell at them to get off the computer.my how the tables have turned.

on April 10, 2007 at 10:30am I took my 9,999th photo! How exciting. As of today I have taken with my faithful Canon 20d 10,148 images! wowzer...now how many have i actually printed.

...Ode to my new blog!

So being the bad blogger that I am I decided to start a NEW blog. Go figure...Ever since I took on Photography as a career I stopped capturing those moments with my kids and family and just anything that caught my attention. My camera would never leave my side now I find that I only grab it when on assignments. Now don't get me wrong.. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY but I feel like I am missing out on my own memories while capturing everyone elses..

...Pauses of Life will not just be another photography blog, but a photo journal of the Pauses of my Life. Every image may not be perfect...technically correct..photoshopped just right but every image will represent a stage..a moment..a second of time in my life as I see it. So enjoy the ride as I take you through the Pauses of MY LIFE.
